Types Of Seeds Oil Machine

Depending on their operating principle and structure, the machine currently on the market are primarily categorized into two types: hydraulic oil presses and screw seeds oil machine.

1. Screw Seeds Oil Machine

Screw Seeds Oil Machine primarily use a screw shaft and screws to squeeze the raw material, using physical pressure to fully compress the raw material and extract the oil. Screw presses, due to their slow pressing process and relatively manageable frictional heat, facilitate cold pressing, resulting in a more natural edible oil. Furthermore, the edible oil produced by screw presses is cleaner and less contaminated. It can be used to press a variety of oilseeds, such as sunflower seeds, mustard seeds, peanut seeds, and tea seeds, making it widely applicable.

2. Hydraulic Oil Press

A hydraulic oil press is based on the Pascal principle, utilizing the enormous static pressure generated by the hydraulic system to statically squeeze the raw material placed in the press chamber. Similar to the ancient wooden wedge press, it is powered by a more powerful hydraulic pump.
This type of press achieves greater pressure than a screw press and is well-suited for high-oil-content or very hard raw materials, such as walnuts, cashews, and other nut oil crops.

However, the raw material must be pre-treated and packed into a cloth before each operation, resulting in lower efficiency than a continuously operating screw press. Hydraulic oil presses are often used in small workshops or for specific oil crops.
