Mango seeds have an oil content ranging from 10% to 20%-considered a moderate yield. This oil is rich in oleic acid, linoleic acid, and vitamins, making it widely applicable in industrial lubrication, skincare, and the food industry.

Mango seeds account for 15% to 20% of the total weight of a mango, representing a significant residual value. As a tropical fruit, mangoes are predominantly distributed across Asia-regions such as India (the world's leading producer), Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and China. Additionally, mango cultivation is found in parts of Africa (e.g., Nigeria and South Africa) and the Americas (e.g., Mexico and Brazil).

In their raw state, mango seeds are typically flat and moist. To maximize oil yield and protect the machinery, the raw materials require pre-treatment prior to pressing.

1. Raw Material Pre-treatment

First, the mango kernels must be thoroughly washed to remove impurities. After washing, they are spread out in the sun to air-dry, eliminating moisture; this step serves to protect the machinery to the greatest extent possible. Once washed, the raw materials undergo crushing; this process increases the surface area in contact with the machine, allowing for more thorough extraction and a higher oil yield.

2. Pressing

The treated raw materials are fed directly into the mango seed oil extraction machine. The material is loaded into the hopper, conveyed via a screw mechanism into the press chamber, and subjected to intense pressure generated by the rotating screw and press cage to extract the oil. The resulting oil cake is discharged directly through the cake outlet ring.

3. Filtration

To obtain higher-quality oil, the crude oil can undergo a filtration process after pressing by  mango seed oil extraction machine. This removes impurities from the crude oil, yielding a clear, high-quality finished product.
