2.1 Raw Material Pretreatment

Under normal circumstances, the pretreatment process of mustard seeds includes the following points:

Removing impurities:

If the original condition of the raw materials is poor, and there are impurities such as stones, dust, sand, and broken leaves, professional equipment can be used for treatment.

Drying:

When the water content of mustard seeds is greater than 8%, they need to be dried, otherwise it will affect the subsequent pressing process. Steaming and frying: There are two main processes in this process. Cold pressing is to make the temperature in the pressing chamber less than 60 degrees, retain the flavor of the raw crude oil, and the oil yield is low. The other is hot pressing, which keeps the temperature in the pressing chamber at 110-130℃. After high temperature treatment, the glucosidase in the raw materials can be destroyed, the irritating flavor can be reduced, and the oil yield can be increased.Then it can be got into the mustard oil machine.

2.2 Mustard Seed Pressing

Mustard oil machine adopts the principle of physical pressing. The raw material is pushed forward by the screw in the pressing chamber of mustard oil machine. The oil is squeezed out by the squeezing between the pressing ring and the screw. The squeezed oil enters the stainless steel oil receiving tray and can directly enter the oil filter equipment or directly load into the oil barrel.

2.3 Further Processing Of Mustard Seed Oil

Filtration:The oil after pressing enters the oil filter to further remove impurities in the crude oil and obtain first-grade or second-grade edible oil.

Refining: Because mustard seed oil has a pungent smell, it needs to be refined to remove the odor in the oil to obtain premium edible oil.
